Pepper & Salt was founded by Frank Schwartz as a satirical periodical in the 1960s, unfortunately becoming lost between his work as a teacher, the age of digitisation and family, only to be found amongst other family papers and revived in 2023 after a 50ish year hiatus. His imagination, talent and wit as a writer is not only present in the satirical pieces that he wrote specifically for Pepper&Salt , but in his numerous plays, articles on teaching and the odd political commentary.
